Mankatha Tamil Movie Preview | Ajith Trisha Latest Film

Ajith's much-awaited 50th film Mankatha, directed by Venkat Prabhu, has raised expectations almost to breaking point. The star cast of this multi-starrer includes Trisha, Arjun, Anjali, Lakshmi Rai, Premgi Amaran, Ashwin and Vaibav. In his 50th flick, the actor will play the role of an ordinary man who does anything to earn money. The crew shot some crucial scenes at Mumbai’s Dharavi slums recently.

Our sources say that the film is about cricket betting during the IPL season and Ajith's on screen character is named Vinayak. Sources further reveal that Ajith's character will have some negative shades too. (Remember Shahrukh Khan in Baazigar and Marlon Brando in Godfather?).

The film is produced by Dayanidhi Alagiri under his Cloud Nine Movies banner. Ajith's salt-and-pepper hairstyle similar to George Clooney's in Ocean’s 11 has already created curiosity among critics and audiences. The title song 'Vilayadu Mankatha', which was released as a single track, has already created waves in almost all FM channels.

All eyes are now on the music launch which is expected to take place soon in Chennai. And guess what is Mankatha's byline? "Yellaarum kettavanga, aana ivan romba kettavan." (Every one is bad but he is very bad)!

Ulakam Chuttum Valiban Malayalam Movie Preview | Jayaram Latest Film

'Ulakam Chuttum Vaaliban' is the title of the big hit Tamil movie of the sixties featuring MGR. But almost forty years from this movie, director Rajbabu is getting ready to present his new endeavour titled the same in Mollywood. Made in the scripts of Krishna poojappura, the movie's base story is by Tamil scriptwriter Gopubabu. Featuring most of the comedy stars of Mollywood, the shooting of 'Ulakam Chuttum Vaaliban' directed by Rajbabu (of 'Chess' and 'Kangaroo' fame)is almost complete.

The movie has jayaram as Jayashankar, a wholesale vegetable vendor, living a happy life with his mother and only sister Kalyani. Jayashankar who had been the life and soul of his silent village krishanpuram, is now forced to move on to the city to meet Sethumadhavan, his distant relative and a money bag of the circuit. Currently in big financial troubles which also resulted in calling off the already fixed marriage of his only sister Kalyani, Jayashankar needs to find Sethumadhavan and to borrow some big money from him in order to get back to his peaceful life.

It was through a pure accident that TV channel Presenter Varsha and her brother Saajan Joseph entered the life of jayashankar. Varsha found jayashankar as an impressive material for her street reality show, when he landed in the city. Saajan Joseph, who is the circle inspector of police, is known for his abilities to grab every kind of thieves who enters the city. But Saajan have a more than normal belief in his personality and beauty, and also suppose that it is his handsomeness that helps him to become famous. Somehow, this inspector becomes a headache to Jayashankar who is clutched every time for no reasons of his.

But Jayashankar, is at the same time proving to be a problem for many others in the city including the local M LA Dathan. As each of the group including a gang of thieves follows Jayashankar to find out his real face, we are made known that jayashankar is actually another person who had to be in the disguise for some mysterious reasons.

Biju menon will come up as inspector Saajan joseph while Suraj venjaaramoodu is Sethumadhavan in the movie. Mithra Kurian appear as kalyani while vandana is varsha. Salim Kumar appears as a trainer for petty thieves in the film while lalu Alex is Hameed, the IG of police. Also in the cast are kalabhavan Shajon, Kottayam Nazeer, Janardhanan, Mamukoya, Pradeep Prabhakar, Kishore and Priyanka.

Anandhakuttan cranks the camera while Mohan Sithaara set the tunes to songs written by Engadiyoor Chandrsekharan and Rajeev Alunkal.

Produced by Milan Jaleel in the banner of Galaxy films, the movie ' Ulakam Chuttum Vaaliban will be on theatres as an Onam offering.

Tejabhai And Family Malayalam Movie Preview | Prithviraj Akhila Sasidharan Latest Film

After making some big hits in 2011, Young star Prithviraj will be meeting the Box office with a full time comedy film for the first time in 'Thejabhai and family'. This Onam offering from the star will be directed by Deepu karunakaran, who had made a name with the Dileep hit 'Crazy Gopalan'.

The movie will have Prithviraj as Thejabhai, the young don operating in Malaysia. He has made a name for himself in Kuala Lumpur as a believable gangster, who will somehow manage to fulfil his agreements on time. Though a fierce don, he has a simple heart and falls for a social activist Vedika. After much running around the bush, Thejabhai success in getting the love of Vedhika. But the problem starts when Vedhika tells her family about Thejabhai. The only condition that Vedika's father , Damodharji who is a big business magnet based on Malaysia, put before is that they will agree to any person who comes from a big joint family.

Theja, but had a sad past where he had built himself from a humble start as an orphan with no one to support him. But for vedhika, he has to find one family to suit the demands of his future in-laws. Now it is all left to Rajaguru maharishy Vashy vachassu, who is a distant relative and friend of Theja. He agreess to Theja that everything will be taken care of and that when Theja is back to India, a big joint family of him will be in the waiting. The movie goes on to tell the interesting twist in tales that follows with the arrival of Theja, Vedhika and her relatives to Theja's big family.

Also scripted by the director, Suraj Venjaaramoodu will appear in a full length role with Prithvi as Rajaguru Vashyavajassu. Thalaivaasal Vijay becomes Damodharji while 'Karyasthan' fame Akhila is cast in the role of Vedhika.Jagathy, Jagadheeesh, Harishree Ashokan,Salimkumar, Manianpillai Raju, Indrans, Keerikadan Jsoe, Bindhu Panikkar, Ponnamma Babu and Kulappulli Leela are also part of the cast of the movie. While Sham Dutt is in charge of the cinematography, Manoj does the editing.

The evergreen dance song of Mollywood 'Oru Madhurakinavin' from the eighties hit 'Kanaamarayathu' will be featured in the movie. The version of the ever remembered and cherished disco song performed by Rehman' with original lyrics from Bichu Thirumala and music by Shyam will be remixed by the new age musician Deepak Dev, who is currently enjoying the big musical success of his latest 'Urumi'. The song will be shot on Prithviraj and will be a highlight of the humorous action thriller. 'Thejabai and family' will also feature three other songs penned by kaithapram.

The movie produced by Santha Murali and P K Muralidharan in the banner of Anantha Vision will get to theatres for this Onam.

Asuravithu Malayalam Movie Preview | Asif Ali New Film

A K Saajan is popular in Mollywood as the scenarist of films like Butterflies, Kashmeeram, Janathipathyam, Chinthamani Kolacase, Red Chillies and Drona. He had also directed a couple of movies, the first being the very first action hit of Prithviraj 'Stop violence' and that 'Lanka' which was discussed much for all the wrong reasons. The writer- director A K Saajan is now back after a gap, to showcase himself with a new movie. Titled as 'Asuravithu', the movie features the new sensation Asif Ali with Samvutha Sunil as the heroine.

The movie 'Asuravithu' tells the the story of a young man named Don Bosco played by Asif Ali who is riding high after the success of Salt N' Pepper and Violin. After a terrible and unhappy childhood, Don Bosco is now in search of a peaceful life. Though intensely religious and good mannered, he is always followed by problems from which he likes to escape somehow. And for that he joins a seminary in the intention of becoming a priest. Don Bosco also pursues his studies in the polytechnic even while studying biblical literature. But within a short time there, he realises that he is not meant to be a priest. An incident for which he becomes a witness also provokes him to jump out of the seminary and to deal the happenings as a commoner. This decision changes his life forever.

A differently made movie that may not confirm to the demands of the family audience, 'AsuraVithu' will have Samvrutha as a boat owner named Martina a.k.a. Marty, who also works in it as a conductor. A bold and bubbly girl, Samvrutha's character is also an artist whose past time is to help the police to sketch the culprits, with the help of eyewitness accounts.

Asif Ali's central character will have various shades to it, that will help him to avoid being repetitive. The movie also features Siddique, Vijayaraghavan, Biju Menon,Jagathy Sreekumar, Harisree Asokan, Lena and Ganapathy in other important roles.

'Asuravithu' will be cinematographed by Vishnu Narayan. Alphonse Joseph and Rajesh Mohan are in charge of the music department of the movie which is fast progressing in and around Kochi.

'Asuravithu' is being produced by Shaji Thanaparambil under the banner of Leela Creations.

Indian Rupee Malayalam Movie Preview | Prithviraj Ranjith Latest Film

After that phenomenal critical and box office success of 'Pranchiyettan and the Saint', writer- director Ranjith is back with a new movie titled as 'Indian Rupee'. The director is currently busy shooting for the movie in his hometown, Kozhikkod, teaming up for the first time with the ace cinematographer S. kumar.

Prithviraj who debuted with the Renjith movie 'Nandhanam' will be joining his mentor once again through this 'Indian Rupee'. He plays Jayaprakash, a young man who dreams of making it big as a real-estate broker.

'Indian Rupee' widely thought of as a prequel to Renjith's 'Pranchiyettan.....' is all about money. The movie will showcase the interests of the new generation to make easy money and become rich overnight. In the movie, Jayaprakash known popularly as J P, also dreams of becoming a rich man through real estate business, as he happens to meet a lot of such youngsters in Kozhikkod. He also has a debt of three lakhs, which he needs to repay in a few months. And for that J P finds real estate deals as an easy way out. The movie goes on to tell through the protagonist that life is not just all about money.

Lalu Alex who is for the first time cast in a Renjith movie will come up as Surendran, an elderly friend of Jayaprakash. A man who finds happiness in running a small time business, J P is like a brother to Surendran. His younger sister Beena (Rima Kallingal), a doctor working in the government service is in love with Jayaprakash from their campus days. Though much of his family members don't support this relationship, Surendran approves of the relationship. Beena, on the other hand is a simple girl who prefers to live modestly, though he hails from an influential and rich family.

Prithviraj who is excited about essaying the role of Jayaprakash, is also producing the movie, along with Santosh Sivan and Shaji Natesan under their banner, August Cinema.

The movie will also have veteran actor Thilakan coming back to commercial Mollywood after a ban inflicted upon him by AMMA. Jagathy Sreekumar, Shweta Menon, Sreelatha, Vijayan V Nair, Mamukoya, Tini Tom, Mallika (of 'Autograph' fame), Zeenath, Appunni Sasi and Babu Namboothiri, also play major roles in the film.

Mr. Marumakan Malayalam Movie Preview | Dileep Sanusha Latest Film

Tamil star Bhagyaraj is debuting into Malayalam with the movie 'Mr Marumakan'. Directed by Sandhya Mohan, Dileep- Bhagyaraj combo will be the highlight of this film which is made as a nonstop humorous fare. The other speciality of the movie is that Baby Sanusha, who excelled in many roles including 'Kazhcha' will turn a heroine with the movie.

'Mr Marumakan' has Janapriyanayakan Dileep as Ashokraj, who is the heir of the family owning the most famous drama troupe of sixties and seventies-Bharatha kalakshethram. Ashok is the younger son of Rajagopalan Thampy (Nedumudi Venu), the current organiser of the defunct drama troupe which is based in Ottappalam. Though a lawyer by profession, Ashok is also interested in reviving the drama troupe which was once run by his family. The troupe which had ignited much discussions in the social and political arena had been into deep trouble when Ashokraj came up to hold its mantle.

As a part of giving a new face to 'Bharathakalakshetram', Ashok is now directing and playing the lead of the drama titled Dasavatharam, for the troupe. Ashok Raj even changes his name to Ashok Chakravarthy to suit the tastes of the new generation drama viewers. But after a pretty good restart, financial troubles start to affect the troupe.

Into this difficult situation arrives Ashok's elder brother Baburaj, an MBA holder, who runs a company which is now in a financial mess. The entire family is now surrounded by debtors who are trying to get back their money by hook or crook. Ashok had a special ability to somehow manage things in every crisis.

Balasubrahmanyam (Bhagyaraj) is a bank officer who arrives to initiate legal proceedings against Babu Raj and to attach their bunglow to get him to repay the loan that he had taken, to start his venture. But Balasubrahmanyam has got his share of woes, as he is estranged from his arrogant wife Raja Mallika (Khushboo). Mallika hails from a wealthy family and is the daughter of the even harsher Raja Kokila (Sheela), who is the boss of Raja's group of companies. Sanusha appear as Rajalekshmy, the daughter of Raja Mallika, who is just back to Kerala after completing her degree in fashion designing. The trio believes that a woman can carry on easily, without the help of a man and that is the one reason, Balasubrahmaniam is now out of his house. Ashok Raj now decides to get into the scheme of things to pacify the bank officer and delay the bank procedures. His entry forces the ladies to go back from their previous ideals and what all follows is the rest of 'Mr marumakan'.

'Mr Marumakan' has songs by Suresh peters of which one shot in four days with rains is the highlight. Produced by MahaSubair and Nelson Eype in the banner of Varanchithra Big screen, 'Mr Marumakan' will be on theatres in a matter of few weeks.

Pranayam Malayalam Movie Preview | Mohanlal Blessy Latest Film

Blessy, one of the most talented filmmaker and storyteller to grace Mollwyood after the late Padmarajan had been able to create excellent characters for his protagonists played by Mammootty, Mohanlal and Dileep. And whenever he was with our most versatile actor of our time Mohanlal in 'Thanmatra' and 'Bhramaram' the results were two of the best films that get into the all time best lists of Mollywood. Now Blessy is on the plans to go for a special movie with three living legends of Indian cinema- Anupam Kher, Jayapradha and Mohanlal. In fact, Blessy is for the first time attempting a tale entirely based on everlasting love, with his movie rightly titled as 'Pranayam'.

The movie will have Mohanlal as Mathews, who is a Philosophy Professor. He is of the view that life is more beautiful than a dream. And so it is mandatory to live life to its fullest. Anupam Kher is Achutha Menon, a former footballer. He was once selected to the state team but couldn't play any game in the league. He is still nurturing this loss as the biggest failure in his life.

But the link between Mathews and Achutha Menon was Gracy, who entered their lives in different points of time. The film would talk about their boundless love for each other.

Aryan and Nivedhitha will play the younger ages of Anupam Kaher and Jayapradha in the movie, which will have plenty of flash backs shots at Fort Kochy, Kulu Manali and Rivary in Haryana. Much of the other parts of the movie was captured on film by Satheesh kurup at locales in Ernakulam, Madhur and Dhanushkodi. Anoop Menon, Niyaz, Dhnaya mary Varghese also form the rest of the cast of the 'Pranayam'.

This unique portrayal of dimensions of love that transcends time, space and emotions, is produced by PR Sajeev and Annie Sajeev in the banner of Fragrant nature film creations. M. Jayachandran is the music director who sets the songs in the lyrics of ONV kurup. Raja Muhammad does the editing while Sameera saneesh is the costumer. Makeup is by Renjith Ambady and Art direction by Prasahath Madhav.

'Pranayam' will be brought to theatres for this Onam by Max lab.
