The XL is enlarged version of the Printrbot Simple with some additional features. it has print area of of 12X8X11 (of what? I don't get imperial units:-))

Main features are:

Color TFT Screen
Standalone operating system
Print completely without the use of your computer or laptop
Have complete control of your printer
Touch screen control as well as some programmable buttons for quick options
Ultra portable and light
Aiming for the sub $100 dollar range to keep it competitive with regular LCD\SD options even though it does much more
