SkyDelta is a new style of open-source RepRap 3D printer. Similar to deltabots like the Kossel, Rostock, Cerberus, Wolfstock, and many others, it has a triangular-prism frame. However, instead of using linear rails and rigid rods to move the print head through space, SkyDelta employs tensioned lines.

Interesting looking polar 3d printer developed by RepRap forum user unlimitedbacon. He calls it "3d printing record player". The rotating circular build plate is called the ϴ ("theta") axis and the swinging arm is called the R axis. They replace the  X and Y coordinates in a standard 3d printer.

The enclosure is 3d printed, you can see an Afinia in background of the video. Gabriel (the creator) planes to have plastic case similar to modern watchers, but I like this rough 3d printed style. It is more geek kind of cool.

Printer that was never developed to maturity, but has very interesting and unique design with SCARA arm and circular build platform. It does not need any bearings or non-printable linear systems.I hope someone will finish this project some day.
